Dating your step brother
I'd sort of like to let her know how I feel and ask her out, but I feel like my brother and his wife might get upset with me, and I wonder if it's considered taboo to date someone who is closely related to someone you are related to by marriage.
Two of my nephews (brothers) once dated two girls who were sisters.

Another very weird thing is that my dad was told first and he didn't have a huge cow like he did when I told him about my husband,(when we were dating). 2) Do they reside in a trailer park and drink beer for breakfast after they do their meth? So, if your sister is a consenting adult and the step brother is a consenting adult, and they want to get married, there really isn't a problem.
3) What part of Arkansas is your mother from and let me guess ... The same goes for people marrying 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc., cousins.
When there is no clear Biblical statement in a moral issue, such things are next determined based on extrapolating Biblical principles.
But the answer to your question remains "there's nothing specifically forbidding it, and genetic similarity isn't cited as the reason for the prohibition on sexual relationships with close relatives." I still don't know if that makes it okay, though.
I bet they are the ones who live in a trailer park.
I ask because I'm trying to understand whether the prohibition against sibling marriage is due to genetic or emotional reasons.
Suppose Bob and Alice marry, have a daughter Eve, and some years later Alice dies.
When I was 13, my mother married a very young man and let his younger brother move in with us as well. My step uncle ended up falling in-love with me and always told me that. Well, he asked my mom If he could be with me and she said when I was 16 we could hold hands. Thats the problem with you christians, Your taught not to ask just have faith. You are so arrogant and sister is 22 and my uncle is almost 30. We live in dallas, texas and NOT in a trailer park! You are so stupid and you could have just put your opinion down, not that extra CRAP!! I am 28 and my 34 year old sister married a man almost twice her age 7 years ago. This man had a daughter from a previous marriage that I really like a lot and she feels the same way about me. If your sister married a man, and that man has a sister with two daughters and you like one of them and you are all 15 then it is okay, for example imagine a man marrying a woman whose brother marrys the mans sister, that is okay because they arent related.
Well, I guess I need help to figure out if I should be happy for my sister since she hasn't had a REAL boyfriend before, or should I not like this awkward situation. I think the answer is dependent upon various factors such as 1) Are they both of legal age? I myself am in a relationship with my step uncle and we have been dating for about a year. The reason that brothers and sisters shouldn't marry is because of the negative results, that could take place, if they had children together.
